Zingaro Nature Reserve is located in the western part of the Gulf of Castellammare, near San Vito Lo Capo. It is an area rich in vegetation and it is one of the few stretches of coast in Sicily without a coastal road. There is only a coastal track, almost 7 kms long, connecting the two main entrances (Scopello and San Vito Lo Capo). Its sheltered coves are characterised by crystal-clear waters.
Inside the Reserve there are: the Naturalistic Museum, the Museum of the Marine Activities, the Museum of the Rural Civilization, where the complete cycle of wheat is reproduced, the Center of Environmental Education, two equipped areas and also some old rural houses.
